Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan dazzled as the showstoppers for Karan Johar and Varun Bahl's show at the HDIL-India Couture Week in Mumbai, but it was Shah Rukh Khan who stole the show with his dimpled smile and spontaneous dancing.

With Big B and Hrithik walking down the ramp, the audience couldn't have asked for more, but there was a bonus.

As the two showstoppers - Amitabh Bachchan dressed in a black overcoat with aviators and Hrithik in a military jacket - came to take the final bow with the designers, Karan suggested that they get King Khan, who was sitting in the first row, on the ramp too.

Salim Ali in his TV persona Begum Nawazish Ali
Even as Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray Tuesday said the presence of Pakistani artists on 'Bigg Boss' would not be allowed, party activists barged into the campus of the bungalow where the TV show is being shot and beat up some security guards.

The Shiv Sainiks shouted slogans and protested the move by Colors TV channel to include two Pakistanis on the show - model Veena Malik and TV actor Ali Saleem, whose TV persona Begum Nawazish Ali is very popular both in Pakistan and India.

Police say the activists beat up some private security guards.

A spokesperson for Colors TV declined to comment on the issue. The bungalow, where the artists will be housed for the next three months, is in Lonavala, around 125 km from Mumbai.

Thackeray vowed today (October 5) that his party would not allow the show to continue at any cost.

"In India nowadays, we are destroying our self-respect. Under the guise of the show, Pakistan's green poison is being spread in this country. Whoever loves this country, we shall ask for their support and not permit the show to continue, come what may," he thundered.

He said the Sena would not be cowed down and his activists would disrupt the show.

Even the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has protested the inclusion of Pakistani actors on the show and demanded that Colors TV evict them from it.

'Bigg Boss', hosted by Salman Khan in its fourth season, aired its introductory episode on October 3.

Not willing to take any chances, Mumbai police have beefed up security outside Colors TV offices in Andheri east since Monday.

Just as the world is impressed with 'Robot' (the movie's grossed over 1.56 million dollars in the US), Amitabh Bachchan is quite impressed with his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai's looks in the movie and describes her on-screen presence as "smashing".

Director Shankar's bilingual film - 'Robot' in Hindi and 'Endhiran' in Tamil, which has Rajnikanth playing the male lead, opened to rave reviews.

"Aishwarya looked smashing and danced like she had never danced before. Rajni…what can one say for this man. He is just unbelievable. The film is a roller-coaster ride of fun and ecstasy and events of mammoth proportions," Amitabh posted on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com.

He saw the movie on October 4 at a special screening organised by Rajnikanth in Mumbai for the Hindi film fraternity.

"There was a large turn out from the industry - directors, producers, artists and all were simply blown to pieces by the product and its presentation. When you go to see a Rajni film, it's not the film that you wish to see. You see the film for the experience of it. And in this one, the experience is incredible," he added.

The sci-fi thriller, apparently made at a whopping budget of Rs.175 crore ($38 million), boasts of a lot of special effects and they wowed Big B.

"Merely putting his thoughts on paper must have been an exercise so desirable for the director Shankar. What and how did he think up all these ideas for the script from his mind is reason to envy and lament.

"Aamir (Khan), after the show was over, wanted to 'eat his brain' - Shankar's that is - to find out how he managed to conquer that world that he so effectively portrayed on screen."

"An incredible experience it was and I sincerely urge all those that reside in the world of Chennai to go see it first day first show. Rajni was incredible, Aishwarya was colourful and danced like a dream and content and delivery was simply extraordinary," he added.

'Dabangg' should make 10 times more money than '3 Idiots, Aamir Khan said at a party thrown by Salman Khan to celebrate the success of the cop comedy.

"I am very happy that Salman's 'Dabangg' got so much success. That's why I have come to give him a hug and congratulate him. I would always pray that his film makes 10 times more than what '3 Idiots' did," Aamir told reporters at the success party of the film held at Vie Lounge in Mumbai. Aamir and Salman have become very close in recent times, and are pretty much regulars at each others parties.

Report says in two weeks 'Dabangg' has done business of Rs.116 crore net and the third week has opened well on single screens. The film revolves around a corrupt cop Chulbul Pande, played by Salman, and his life.

The party was for the cast, crew and close friends, says actor-turned-producer Arbaaz Khan, who was thrilled with the success of his first production venture.

Salman made a brief appearance for the media and said, "Thank you so much. I am very happy."

This was Abhinav Kashyap's first film as director and he too was very happy with the sucess. "I am in the seventh heaven," he said.

When Malaika Arora Khan, who features in the 'Munni' song, was asked if she had expected her husband Arbaaz's debut production to be a record breaking hit, she said, "No, one can ever predict the fate of the film before hand, but, of course, we pray for its success. The magnitude of the response and the collections of the film are overwhelming."

Among the guests were director David Dawan and he said: "This is the biggest hit of Salman. He is outstanding and everyone knows that. After watching the film I was quite sure that it would be a big hit."

Chunky Pandey, Sonu Niigaam, Subhash Ghai and Vidhu Vinod Chopra also joined Salman for the party.

Aamir Khan is definitely becoming a friendlier man towards all of Bollywood. The once-upon-a-time-reclusive star is now seen at lots of parties and events (particularly with new bestie Salman Khan), and now we hear that Aamir's finally agreed to appear on Karan Johar's talk show 'Koffee With Karan'. Buzz is he's going to be one of the guests on season three of the show.

It seens Karan had approached Aamir to appear on the show in earlier seasons as well, but the star had always refused. Could it be that Aamir didn't want to have to answer all those fun and naughty questions in the show's famous rapid-fire round? The very same where Kareena Kapoor called John Abraham expressionless! We'll be watching out for what KJo has in store for Aamir, and if Aamir has really loosened up enough to answer some tricky questions about his B'wood choices.
