The film casts Shahid (Amit) and Kareena (Priya). The duo meets in a Youth festival in Bangkok. Priya is a pure romantic at heart, a girl of substance, someone completely different from today’s teens.
She is in search of a life partner who neither lies nor smokes. Amit is a total opposite of what Priya desires in her life partner. He is a complete alcoholic, a chain smoker and a lier.
Their world collides as Amit discovers Priya’s personal diary. He poses as her dream life partner and soon they both fall in love until Priya discovers her diary at Amit’s room.
They split off immediately. Years go by and we see a new Amit who returns from USA to Delhi after securing a degree in business management.
He has now actually become the man that Priya had dreamt of. Priya has also become a successful video director and is all set to settle down with a pop singer.
But both Shahid and Kareena take a last attempt to find each other before they finally settle down. But will fate bring them closer?
